BRAVE: Changemakers are reinventing the rules; They do things differently and are ready to travel upstream. LOVE: Changemakers put love at the center of everything they do; They look at their impact, integrate love for people and planets into their lives and work. They lead change with love and care. SHARE: Changemakers are sharers; They are collaborative team players who see abundance and understand that by sharing access and resources, everyone benefits. I learned that although they come from different backgrounds, genders, religions, communities, regions and economic backgrounds, some are social entrepreneurs, community leaders, innovators, teachers, business people or simply individuals who strive to bring about change, that there are 6 character traits that define the anatomy of an actor of change. […] – someone who wants change in the world and who makes that change happen by bringing together knowledge and resources. More and more people are putting this word in their name, one of which is the old […] “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful and engaged citizens can change the world. Changemaker(s) – A term coined by the social entrepreneurship organization, Ashoka, which means someone who wants to change in the world and brings that change together by bringing together knowledge and resources. As a side business for Tingle until he graduated from the top 5% of his class at Harvard Business School in 2019, Tingle`s efforts were never about making money, but about being a changemaker for good on Wall Street.

The term changemaker is easy to understand, just from the words that compose it. In fact, I can guess that when you get to this page, you wonder two main things: what kind of “change” does the term refer to and what distinguishes Changemaker from others. In most cases, the only change that really matters is social change or any other type of change that can help people.
Changemakers can be described as social entrepreneurs, activists, or any other number of titles, but there really isn`t a decent description outside of Ashoka`s new word. Changemakers share the same fundamental motivations as entrepreneurs: to achieve change that not only helps the human condition, but affects as many people as possible. POSITIVE: Changemakers are inherently positive; They see challenges as opportunities to make a difference and recognize that change requires a solution-oriented approach. Ashoka coined the word “changemaker” (the name of her first newsletter) in 1981 and has used it ever since. Over the past three years, this word has suddenly entered everyday language. This is solid proof that Ashoka`s ten years of working to help everyone see and say aloud that they live in a profoundly different and better world that “everyone is changing” has reached the tipping point. People need the word because they change. I set out to tell the stories of the people behind the 21st century phenomenon. Discover and make known to the public what is changing the way we think, live and do business. But in three years, I`ve learned that there are characteristics that set these pioneers of change apart. This blog tries to do things: First, offer a little insight into the spiritual and personal life of a hopeful future changemaker; And second, and most importantly, provide the tools and knowledge needed by changemakers to achieve their noble goals. Observations are a meeting place for changemakers to learn, share and grow.
