A floodplain or flood-prone area is any area of land that is likely to be flooded by water from any source (see definition of “flooding”). J. Craig Barker, publisher John P. Grant is Professor of Law at the Lewis & Clark School of Law in Portland, Oregon. Previously, he taught at the law faculties of Aberdeen, Dundee and Glasgow, most recently 8 years as Dean. Craig Barker is Professor of Law and Head of Department at Sussex Law School, University of Sussex, England. Previously, he was a lecturer and lecturer at the University of Reading. His research focuses mainly on the field of international law and in particular on the law of international immunities.

He has also written on international security issues, particularly terrorism; international criminal law; and the relationship between international law and international relations. He is the author of three monographs, three anthologies and several articles in professional journals.
