32. Standard suspensions for late models correspond to (1) shock absorbers per wheel, except at the rear left. The left rear is allowed (2) shock absorbers one in front of the rear and one behind. The shock absorbers shall be mounted vertically on the axle tube. 33. The case holders must be fixed. Don`t move. 34. Shock absorbers at any position of the race car, including the lifting rod or torque arm shock absorber, must be made of magnetic steel or aluminum. No continuous rod-type shock absorber is allowed. No remote adjustment shock absorber.
No J-shaped inert or shock absorber of any kind is permitted. 35. Minimum wheelbase 103. 36. All vehicles shall be equipped with a steel roll cage appropriate to protect the driver`s compartment, including the head restraint. 37. Each gearbox (shall have a working forward and reverse gear) NO STRAIGHT DRIVES OR INPUT AND OUTPUT BOXES. 38. Drive shafts shall be painted white. Carbon fiber is allowed.
39. Steel brake discs only NO CARBON FIBER. NO BRAKING SYSTEMS MADE OF TITANIUM OR OTHER EXOTIC MATERIALS. 40. Any authorized make or type of wheel. Must be mounted with wheel nuts. Maximum wheel width 14″. NO LOCKING WHEELS OR CENTRAL LOCKING.
41. Hoosier 1350, 1600, Crate 21, 55 or American Racer 48, 56. “Hoosiers 21 and 55 must be shoulder plated.” RF, LF 1350, 21 or 48 RR, LR 1600 55 or 56 ONLY. All tires are inspected with a durometer. Anyone who violates the rules on tires will be disqualified from the event and will have to pay a $500 fine before being allowed to race again in 411. This class qualifies and rides with the same 4 tires per event. All classes comply with the guidelines for tire testing as specified in General Rules 411. G.) The nose should be mounted flat, where the filling plate and the piece of nose meet.
Nose parts should not be modified from their original shape. Nose parts are checked with a model. The nose is pressed against the mounting brackets to measure its profile in relation to the template. D.) The total weight of the wheel, wheel hardware, wheel disc and fasteners, and tire shall not exceed 40 pounds*. *The maximum total weight of this rule is based on current tyre rules and may need to be adjusted in the case of an alternative tyre. A.) A steel magnetic intrusion plate at least 1/8″ (.125″) thick on the door bars on the driver`s side is mandatory. B.) Authorized facilities: ii.) A plate of at least 16″ x 26″ bolted to 1/8″ (.125″) steel magnetic tabs manufactured securely welded to the chassis with at least eight (8) x 3/8″ Allen button screws. At least three (3) 1/8″ (.125″) steel magnetic tabs manufactured and 3/8″ Allen button head screws are required on top of the break-in plate, at least three (3) 1/8″ (.125″) steel magnetic tabs manufactured and 3/8″ Allen button head screws are required at the bottom of the plate, and one (1) 1/8″ (.125″) magnetic steel tab manufactured and a 3/8″ Allen button head screw in each of the front and center sides of the anti-burglary plate. Note: As we try to align the rules with the national series, we plan to follow the Lucas Oil Late Model series and the “uniform” national rules for bodywork and vehicle construction as much as possible. The following rules are modified to reflect these changes once they are published.
For this reason, these rules are subject to change at any time. i.) Welded plates – Individual plates between the door bars are allowed, but must be welded around the perimeter of each opening. The minimum covered area is 16 inches x 26 inches. iii.) A plate of at least 16″ x 26″ bolted to at least six (6) approved door rod terminals, using the 12″ x 1/2″ Allen button head screws supplied in accordance with the manufacturer`s specifications. At least three (3) approved door rod clamps and the six (6) included 1/2″ Allen button head screws are required via the top of the break-in plate and three (3) approved door rod clamps and contained six (6) required 1/2″ Allen button head screws at the bottom of the anti-burglary plate. The supplier and part number must be clearly indicated on the part. The late 2022 East Bay Raceway Park Pro models will use the rules of the Crate Racing USA Weekly Racing Series, which can be found here. B.) The battery terminals must be insulated and the battery must be surrounded by a non-conductive material that prevents contact with any part of the race car in case the battery detaches from the battery holder. H.) Any frame constructed on or after 1 January 2006 shall be fitted with the manufacturer`s unique serial registration plate prominently visible on the left side roll cage. The plate must be welded in place. All characters on the plate must be at least 1⁄2″ high and the serial number must not exceed 8 characters. A.) Rear suspension designs and applications are constantly evolving.
Although the intent of the rear suspension rules is an attempt to take into account most of the designs and applications of suspension and suspension components currently used in competition, the rules cannot be absolute. Any new design or modification of an existing suspension and/or suspension part must be notified and approved by the Technical Director before being used in the competition. F.) No “slope noses” or “corner cars” are allowed. Noses must appear as standard, subject to the production model. NOTE: We will not apply the “Droop” rule of the Uniform Rules. A.) All fuel cells must meet or exceed the AIF/FT3 or SFI 28.3 specifications. Modifications of any kind are not permitted. (Example: modifications of the top plate, modifications or removal of the foam, etc.) The fuel cell can only have a maximum capacity of 35 gallons. E.) If the inner bridge falls, the fall must begin at the rear of the engine plate with a maximum of 4 inches and must not fall below 4 inches at the back of the hood.
The beginning of the fallen interior must remain closed as part of the fire wall. The entire width should be closed with sheet metal. G.) “Abdominal pans” or any type of housing on the floor of the car are not allowed. A flush-mounting protection plate to protect the oil pan is allowed. A maximum underrun protection plate of 1/8″ is allowed. NOTE: This class will fight for points according to the rules of Crate Racing USA! C.) Front nose assemblies that do not meet the maximum/minimum dimensions may, at the discretion of the series, compete as a “non-compliant” nose with at least 50 additional pounds mounted in front of the engine plate. At the discretion of the series, the degree of non-compliance may require additional weight and/or the placement of the penalty weight in front of the radiator. xiv.) The steering arms shall remain under the spindle of the spindle. F.) Flat and/or odd roofs are not allowed. Abdominal and hollow roofs are not allowed.
D.) The entire container shall be visible for ease of inspection. viii.) The upper triangles can be either the frame version “A” with or without shaft, or the single type of pipe with individual interior swivel supports. B.) Approved nasal assemblies must be installed according to the manufacturer`s instructions. All nasal assemblies must meet the maximum/minimum dimensions, maintain the manufacturing appearance and must not be modified. A.) Lifting arm assemblies and tension rods are allowed. F.) Spherical rod head sizes can be from at least one 5/8 inch rod head body with 1/2 inch bearing to a maximum of a 3/4 inch rod head body with 3/4 inch bearing. C.) It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that his device/system is certified to the SFI 38.1 specification, properly installed, maintained and used correctly. E.) The minimum allowable ground clearance is three inches (3″). (xv.) The pins shall be connected to the upper and lower triangles by means of ball joints, monospheres or ends of spherical rods. A.) SFI Spec 27.1 certified window nets or SFI Spec 37.1 certified safety nets are highly recommended and should be installed according to the manufacturer`s instructions and the satisfaction of the technical director.
